Our 5th Class pupils were involved in a Trócaire Game Changers Competition based on the theme Global Injustice. Each group in the class submitted a board game as their entry. One of our groups were selected for a prize giving ceremony in the Helix, Dublin, on Monday May 22nd. We are very proud of each and every one of the pupils in 5th Class for the effort they put into their projects and intend sending all of the children in 5th class to Dublin on the day as a reward for their efforts.
The 5th Class Children are holding a Bake Sale on Friday May 12th to help to offset some of the costs of travelling to Dublin on the day. They have been planning and working together to make sure this is a success. On the day they will also be selling raffle tickets for a draw.
5th Class firstly, would appreciate any donations for the cake sale and secondly any support you can give on the day. Baked Goods can be dropped to the 5th Class Classroom on the morning of the 12th.
All funds raised will go directly towards paying for the transport to Dublin and ensuring they have a safe and memorable trip.
