What an action packed, fun filled week we have enjoyed in Sixth Class. From circuits, to GAA, to Table Tennis, to Tag Rugby, to Orienteering to Mahoonagh NS Olympics!!! It’s been FANTASTIC!!!! Huge thanks to Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Hayes & Ms. Gilbourne for organising & co-ordinating everything. 🙌🙌🙌 Thanks also to our super Active Committee & all the external coaches who made it possible! 🤩 Finally thanks to The Parent’s Association who treated the whole school to ice-cream from the ice-cream van today!! It’s was delicious 💛 🍦😎

Paddy O’ Neill from the Active Schools has been and gone and the Active Flag has arrived  🥳🥳 
Massive thanks to everyone for co-operating throughout the last two years especially Miss McMahon. The committee have been amazing and thanks to their teachers for letting them out of class a lot more than planned! 🫣 and of course to Miss Kennedy for starting up the process last year!

We had a blast during Active Schools week!! 
We had so much fun joining in with all the activities Miss Mc Mahon had planned for the week! 
We got to try out so many cool sports such as table tennis 🏓, crazy golf ⛳️, hurling, tae kwon do 🥋, dance and Olympic game sports! We also learned how to keep healthy from a nutritionist! 
Thank you miss Mc Mahon!! 
And thank you too to Mrs Geary for inviting us to the senior infant teddy bear picnic! 
We finished off our week with some lovely ice cream cones from the ice cream van! 🍦🚐
