The boys and girls in our Seomra Alice Senior Class had the best fun during maths week!
We made some Spooky Shapensteins using our 2D Shapes.
We played lots of Maths Games on the Interactive White Board.
We used our Maths Eyes when we went on a Maths Trail around the school grounds.
We had a very busy week this week as we celebrated Maths week 2023.
Our activities included Halloween themed sensory box count and sort activities as well as Halloween themed problem solving using our sensory boxes. 🎃👻🎃
We played giant snakes and ladders as a whole class which was lots of fun!
We enjoyed a STEM Lego challenge of creating our names using construction play blocks 🧱.
We loved exploring our maths eyes using the maths week poster for this year - a dinosaur based theme which was enjoyed by all! 🦖
On Friday, we discovered maths in our environment as we embarked on a maths trail around our school grounds 🔍🕵️♀️
All in all, great fun was had by all 😊
3rd Class had a busy week for Maths Week 2023!
-We went on a maths trail around the car park.
-We started each day with two maths problem riddles.
-We took part in the maths week mini quiz via Zoom
-For art this week we created tessellations using hexagons
-We described ourselves based on our numbers!

5th class have been busy this maths week. We played the number brick 🧱 game , solved number puzzles and had a wonderful time playing multiplication table tennis !
