Maths Week
Junior Infants learned about 2D shapes, pattern and Numbers 1,2 and 3 during Maths week. As well as going on a shape hunt around the school yard. It was great fun!
5th class had great fun during maths week. They took part in lots of maths activities and explored new maths concepts in exciting ways.
3rd class were very busy this year for maths week! They completed a maths trail around the school, created maths board games, described themselves in numbers and showed off all their methods of subtraction on flowers!!
Sixth enjoyed lots of maths talk activities & games such as:
• Always Sometimes Never
• Number Talk
• Odd One Out
• Get Off The Train
• Countdown
• Fireman Fred’s Ladder
On Friday they took part in a Maths Week Quiz! Well done to all ➕➖➗✖️🟰♾️
