Sixth Class had a very informative CPR workshop on Thursday morning with Ms. Michelle Herbert from Hazelwood College. Firstly they watched 3 videos for schools on the Irish Heart Foundation website. Ms. Herbert had 9 CPR manikins for the children to then practise compressions in groups of 3. They were fast learners & were excellent at doing the compressions! A fantastic workshop educating our students of the importance of knowing what to do in a cardiac emergency. We also learned of the importance of having our eircode stuck to our fridge & also ensuring all our loved ones do the same as this is one of the questions the 999/112 operator will ask!Β

Well done to all our boys and girls. You were brilliant!!!

Huge thanks to Ms. Herbert for facilitating such a fantastic workshop πŸ™Œ ❀️
