Well done to our 5th and 6th class girls on competing in the Division 1 West Limerick Primary Schools Ladies Football Blitz last Friday the 18th of October in Mick Neville Park.

Our Boys Football team competed in the West Limerick Division 1 Football Blitz on Thursday October 17th at Mick Neville Park. We played some outstanding football in the group stages, defeating Monagea NS and a very close encounter with Killoughteen NS. These two wins saw us qualify from our section for the West Division 1 Final against Adare Boys NS. The final was a close and hard fought affair in difficult weather conditions between two evenly matched skillful football teams. It went right to the wire but unfortunately we came out on the wrong side of a 0-3 to 0-1 defeat. We are so proud of how our boys played and how well they carried themselves in the aftermath of such a disappointing defeat.
We are also very proud of our five 6th Class boys who have made the West Limerick Sarsfield Cup Football team! Best wishes to Andrew Vampola, Cormac Murphy, Jack Young, James King and Tom Howie. It is a fantastic achievement to have such representation on a West Limerick Schools team.
First Class enjoyed map reading to create funny faces in preparation for setting up future obstacle courses using maps.
Our PE stations have been keeping us active ! We have been practising many important skills at each of our stations .
Well done to our camogie girls today in their blitz! Huge congratulations for getting to the final, unfortunately Killoughteen beat them in the end but everyone played very well and had a very enjoyable day! 🥈
