Today we took part in a fun blitz hosted by Raheenagh NS. Ourselves and Kilfinny NS attended and we played 2 games each.
We beat Kilfinny NS in the first game and lost to Raheenagh NS in the second game. Everyone played some great hurling in both games!
The girls had 4 matches, they played really well and enjoyed the day.
The boys had 5 matches, they played out of their skin and won all of their matches!
We won the Liam O'Brien Cup defeating Ahalin in the final after wins v Ballingarry, Feenagh and Ahalin earlier in the day
Miss Collins and Mrs Geary organised a mini sports day in the field today between break and lunch! It was so much fun! We played dodgeball, did a sack race, egg and spoon race, wheel barrow race and a three legged race! Then to refresh everyone at the end Mrs Geary gave everyone an ice pop! Yum 😋
We had lots of fun playing in the junior and senior infant crab soccer tournament organised by the Active Schools committee!
The Active Schools committee set up table tennis 🏓 in the hall last Friday for all the classes to have a go! It was very tricky but lots of fun!
